There were no questions that came out of left field. Most of the questions were questions I had read about on this site or heard about from friends.

1. Explain your professional progression up until now and why you need an MBA? 2. Why do you need a Columbia MBA specifically? 3. If you want to do strategy consulting and VC eventually, wouldn't it make more sense to go to Stanford or Berkeley, which are more plugged in to the VC community? 4. What will you contribute to Columbia? What makes you unique from other engineers applying to Columbia? 5. What was an ethical dilemma you've faced, and what did you do about it? 6. Tell me about a technology trend and how it will affect business. (Since I talked a lot about wanting to apply my knowledge of tech trends to my career) 7. She also noticed that it was very early for me to be interviewing, so I took that as a chance to tell her I was applying to early decision and Columbia is my first choice. 8. How do you work in teams. Have you ever been in a leadership role?

Read through questions here on accepted.com and prepared answers for all unique questions. Overall, I felt prepared, and she was a nice interviewer.

|
No - No there was no feedback at the end of the interview; however, after I sent her a thank you note, she responded and said she's wishing me the best on my application. I hope that means she liked me. Wish me luck!
