process to med school and graduate healthcare programs.

Job Description
Accepted is looking to hire a great medical school admissions consultant to join our team of outstanding
consultants. Our admissions consultants are passionate about helping our clients gain acceptance to the
best medical schools and healthcare programs for them.

We are looking for people with the following qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of experience working on a medical school/healthcare admissions
    committee or as a chair, director, or dean of admissions for a medical school or
    graduate healthcare program (dentistry, PA, postbac, etc); or in an undergraduate
    pre-professional advising role with a focus on healthcare; or for a prominent med
    school admissions consultancy. Former directors of post-bac programs also have
    the experience Accepted seeks.
  2. An eagle-eye for editing.
  3. Outstanding writing and mentoring skills.
  4. A desire to explore a flexible and exciting opportunity.

This is a part-time, independent contractor, remote-work opportunity. It is remote even in a
non-COVID world.

The potential consultant cannot work simultaneously in a graduate admissions capacity for
a university/med school and for Accepted.




College/University Admissions Consultant

Accepted is seeking a great college school admissions consultant to join our team of outstanding
consultants. Our admissions consultants are passionate about helping our clients gain acceptance to the
best universities and colleges for them.


Responsibilities:

● Guide applicants through the undergraduate admissions process.
● Advise applicants where and how to apply.
● Advise applicants on classes, extra-curricular activities and school choice.
● Edit personal statements and supplemental essays for college and university applications.
● Edit Resumes
● Prep applicants as needed for interviews
● Write blog posts related to undergraduate admissions

​​Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of experience working in at least one of the following roles:
    ● An admissions director/dean for a top college or university.
    ● A counsellor at a college preparatory high school whose students have been
    accepted to top universities and colleges.
    ● A consultant at a college admissions consultancy whose clients have been
    accepted to top universities and colleges
  2. An eagle-eye for editing.
  3. Outstanding mentoring skills.
  4. Excellent writing and editing ability
  5. A desire to explore a flexible and exciting opportunity.
  6. Available some evenings and some weekends.
  7. Bachelors required. Masters or doctorate preferred.

Marketing Assistant

Accepted is seeking a motivated part-time Marketing Assistant to join our team. We are a top-tier college and graduate admissions consultancy that has helped our clients gain acceptance to the best universities and colleges for over 25 years. As Marketing Assistant, you will assist the Director of Marketing on all inbound and outbound marketing efforts.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Creation and maintenance of social media calendar, including scheduling, posting, and interacting with our audience
  • Email creation and copywriting, as well as input on weekly email schedule
  • Research and initial vetting of potential partnerships

​​Qualifications:

  • Social media: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube (required)
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills
  • Desire to contribute new marketing ideas and initiatives
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Calendar management and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Experience working remotely
  • YouTube engagement strategy a plus
  • General Hubspot knowledge, especially in regards to social media scheduling and workflows a plus!
