Consultant Profile: Natalie Grinblatt Epstein

Which application stands out in a cast of thousands? As dean and director of admissions, financial aid and student services at some of America’s top undergraduate and MBA programs, I have had the pleasure of finding that gem at midnight after reviewing 50 applications and conducting 10 interviews in a given day. The big question at 12:00 am: do I go home or stay at the office and find a stellar applicant?
I reviewed over 70,000 applications, interviewed over 2500 candidates and trained nearly 700 admissions directors and alumni volunteers to select outstanding candidates for admission. I know what admissions directors are looking for to build a great class. I was on the other side of the table for 18 years travelling to over 40 countries guiding and counseling prospective students on admission and scholarship.
In the past year alone, I have helped clients gain admission into top programs including Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, MIT, Cornell, Columbia, Berkeley, NYU and others.
In addition to my work with Accepted, I consult start-ups and not-for-profits on raising capital, marketing, operations, and strategy. I earned my Arts Baccalaureate and MBA at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
I currently reside with my husband in Michigan. I sincerely want to help you highlight your attributes and create a successful strategy that best fits your goals. In short, I would be delighted to help you present your midnight gem.
