I feel really good about my application because of all the work we did together. Thank you so much for your patience in teaching me this style of writing and editing, and for going above and beyond by even providing additional services and quick communication. I especially appreciate your careful listening to my story in order to help find a thematic thread in my education/work. Whether I’m accepted or not, this process has helped me articulate my professional goals, which is invaluable to me. I can’t thank you enough.   -Alexis

-Accepted Client

Consultant Profile: Rebecca Lippman

Since I joined Accepted in 2018, my clients have been accepted to competitive graduate programs at universities like Harvard, Columbia, Cambridge, NYU, Carnegie Mellon, and Georgetown. Prior to joining Accepted, I guided students to acceptance at top law, grad, and business schools while also helping them earn more than $1 million in scholarships, fellowships, and grants as a Student Affairs Advisor at the UCLA Scholarship Resource Center. Familiar with graduate fellowships like Fulbright, Stanford Knight-Hennessey, Cambridge Gates and the National Science Foundation, I have coached diverse individuals as they write statements regarding a range of topics in humanities, social sciences, and STEM fields. Having also counseled many applicants for identity-based opportunities such as Ford and Soros, I have a profound understanding of how to prepare more personalized materials for these types of applications.

My coaching style centers on conversation and dialogue. I want my clients to feel comfortable sharing their thoughts with me, repeating themselves, and "making mistakes" as they develop their written work. As a writing teacher and consultant, I guide people through a process-oriented approach to brainstorming, drafting, re-drafting, and editing. I love the editorial phase of any writing project because the act of taking a step back puts me in the perfect position to bring the strongest arguments to the surface. At heart, I find joy in enabling people to articulate complex perceptions of personal and professional fulfillment in their application materials. I look forward to being in dialogue with you!

Sounds good? Rebecca certainly seems to have the writing expertise and professional experience to help you whip your material into shape. But what do clients say about their experience with Accepted consultants? Have they truly helped previous clients? Let's take a look at client feedback.
