I went on to complete my Internal Medicine residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, where I stayed for a fellowship in General Internal Medicine/Preventive Medicine, which was part of a joint program with UCLA. Following my training, I continued to work at Cedars in the Employee Health Service, eventually becoming the director. I was also part of the fulltime faculty in the department of Internal Medicine and served as the director of the joint Medicine-Pediatric Residency program.
My own direct experience in applying to medical school, residency and fellowship makes for an invaluable tool in helping others going through the same process. But, not only have I been there myself, I also served on the admissions committees of both the UCLA Medical School and the Cedars Sinai Internal Medicine Residency program. I have reviewed quite a few applications and interviewed many suitable candidates over the years. I know what makes for a good application and what makes one application stand out among others. I am happy to offer my expertise on this exciting journey of becoming a doctor.
